It was a long day’s journey into night at the Asylum, and while most of the Natural Mans were keeping quiet, one voice rose above the rest to speak on the tragedy of the NCAA Duke basketball game.
Sitting alone on the workbench, this Natural Man took a break from his usual "messages from the underground" to deliver a full-blown post-game analysis. And let’s just say he’s not ready to offer any "loving kindness" to the coaching staff.
The air was thick with "moral terror and horror" as he broke down the Blue Devils' performance. According to our lone workbench pundit, you could see the "mighty fall" coming from ten plays away. While the rest of the Natural Mans might have been sleeping or staring at the kiln, he was busy witnessing the collapse of a dynasty.
Who’s to blame? In his eyes, it all falls on the coach. It’s a tough break for Duke, but for one Natural Man in the Asylum, it’s a lesson in the inevitable fall of the mighty. All we can do now is look toward the future and hope for a better bracket next year.
